Impact on Society

Pacific Direct is committed to minimising the impact of its operations on the environment through its business activities, wherever practicable. 

We are increasingly aware of both global concerns and our local environment and recognise that the pursuit of economic growth and a healthy environment must be closely linked.

We consider our impact on society in terms of product development from manufacture through to distribution, use and disposal, compliance with existing legislation as a minimum, and staff awareness and motivation.

We are committed through continuous improvement to assess and review our processes in order to reduce any adverse effects that our undertakings and operations may have on the environment.

This is why - after France has implemented this long-disputed legislation - we would like to inform consumers of recyclable packaging and products with the use of a new logo - 'Triman' (Sorting Man). From January 1st 2015, with the exceptions of glass, all products that can be effectively recycled shall inform the consumers about the same by using the 'Triman' symbol. Pacific Direct uses recyclable bottles wherever possible and this applies to the following product ranges: Orla Kiely, Relax Refresh Revive, The White Company, Amouage, Asprey, Eco Boutique, Elemis and Floris.
