ISO 9001 Quality Management System
ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised quality management system standard recognised in 159 countries. It is a mark of quality bestowed upon companies who can prove the world-class quality of their systems.
Regular surveillance visits and certificate renewal visits every three years make sure that 'Quality Management Systems' continue to meet the requirements of the standard.

ISO 22716 - Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
GMP is group of requirements for correct procedures, hygiene and quality rules applicable to cosmetics production.
By this step Pacific Direct joined is accountable to meet the highest demands for a quality manufacturing environment. This includes the highest standards of employee training, product safety, hygiene and sanitation and finished product quality. A verification audit is performed annually to ensure these parameters are maintained in the long term.
ISO 14 001 Environmental Management Systems
By this certification Pacific Direct demonstrates that all procedures of production together with all related activities as purchasing, development and distribution are performed with high respect to environment and of course in accordance with all valid legislation.
OHSAS 18001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
This internationally accepted standard provides a framework for proper and effective management of health & safety in the workplace. Pacific Direct has defined health and safety hazards and risks associated with its operations, implemented controls to eliminate potential dangers for employees, established improvement programs and set targets, goals, and measurement methods to track the effectiveness of the controls.
HACCP – Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points
The standard taken from food industry identifies potential the biological, chemical and physical risks for safety of the products. Pacific Direct has implemented control points to guarantee a safety of the products.
Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA www.lrqa.com) is one of Lloyd's Register group divisions. Company origin extends to 1760 and its fundamental activity is in risk management with reference to business efficiency, quality, safety and environmental impacts of business activity. This company is respected worldwide.
Pacific Direct has in-house Quality Control laboratory providing microbiological control of raw materials and finished products (CFU, total fungi and yeast number, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa), stability and compatibility testing, analysis of chemical and physical properties of material and product (melting point, refractive index, loss on drying, humidity, pH, conductivity, viscosity, specific weight etc.), physical properties of packaging.
Certificate of metrological control, certifies the competence of the applicants control system of quantities of pre-packages marked with symbol “e”.
Soil Association - COSMOS standard: first audited by Soil Association in 2012 and re-audited annually, Pacific Direct continually satisfies the requirements of COSMOS Cosmetics organic and natural standard. Besides manufacturing our own Natural certified products, we can manufacture products certifiable as organic or natural according to this international standard, founded by leading European organic certification bodies. Pacific Direct has decided to demonstrate not only the quality of products, but also the working environment and working conditions relating to their manufacture. Pacific Direct has therefore joined Sedex, the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange, which is a London based not-for-profit membership organisation for businesses committed to continuous improvement of the ethical performance of their supply chains. An audit within the Sedex criteria has been carried out, intended to ensure accountability and transparency for all stakeholders and customers and to meet the ethical objectives of the organisation. The ethical audit further enables capture of the company's ethical profile from a truly objective viewpoint.
Carried out by Intertek Company in December 3rd, 2008, Pacific Direct passed with high scores and consequently two non-compliant points were identified and immediately corrected.
Our customers that are also members of the Sedex organisation can access our audit data directly at the Sedex website. We would be delighted to provide the full audit report to those parties that are not Sedex members.
Ecologically responsible products
Since 2008, Pacific Direct has been focusing on developing products for environmentally conscious customers. We have actively investigated several accreditation schemes for ecological and organic products. Our production facilities have been audited by various certification bodies setting standards for organic cosmetic products. Our production procedures and environment have repeatedly satisfied the requirements of these standards.
On those bases, Pacific Direct is able to manufacture products certifiable according to the high level standards required for organic cosmetics.
Based on experience with different product standards, Pacific Direct has developed its own range of affordable eco products (thus both ecological and economical) using environmentally friendly packaging materials as well as carefully developed product formula, containing among others ingredients certified as organic according to the same standards.
In October 9th, 2013, Pacific Direct passed with high scores in the most demanding audit SMETA 4-Pillar audit. This audit includes some or all of Labour Standards, Health & Safety, Environment a Business Practice.
Summary of main findings
Very good management system, very modern, clean an tidy working area, last year large investment into new latest technology production lines, for waste water treatment equipment, facility, Czech authority inspection without any negative findings, factory was awarded by Pardubice district authority – CSR, factory regularly actively participates in sponsorship of children activities, employee care, various bonus to employee, investment into staff training, team building activities, foreign language training, high level occupational health & safety and environmental protection control, very low fluctuation.
